J. Brent Barry

J. Brent Barry grew up in Monroe, Louisiana, but he has lived in the Lafayette area with his wife and children for the last 17 years. Brent earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in History from Louisiana Tech where he graduated with honors. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Paul M. Hebert Law School at LSU in 2001.

Brent practices in the areas of personal injury, workplace injuries, products liability, family law, succession, business law, estate planning and social security. He is admitted to all Louisiana State Courts, the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of the United States District Courts and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Brent is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Lafayette Parish Bar Association.
