Aaron J. Lawler was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. After earning a B.A. in Political Science from LSU in 1997, he attended the Loyola University School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2001.

During Aaron’s 20 years of practicing, he has represented Fortune 500 companies, nationally recognized insurance companies and their insureds, construction and plant maintenance specialists, small businesses, and individuals. His practice is primarily focused on casualty defense litigation and trial practice. Aaron’s practice includes personal injury, business litigation and transactions, estate planning, insurance coverage issues, insurance defense, personal injury defense, product liability, successions and wills, and wrongful death cases.

Aaron’ was elected to the Ascension Parish Council in 2016. For the past 7 years, he has served as the Transportation Committee Chairman. He has also served as the Vice Chairman of Recreation, Strategic Planning, and East Ascension Drainage Commission. Aaron also serves as an ex-official board member of the Ascension Parish Economic Development Corporation and the Ascension Parks Foundation.

Aaron lives in Prairieville with his beautiful wife, Julie, and their three sons, Hyland, Riley, and Yeager. When not attending his sons’ Dutchtown High soccer games or tailgating with his son at LSU, Aaron enjoys traveling with his wife, cooking, fishing and reading.
